Recently, Las Vegas has introduced a new sort of fee, aptly named “resort fees”. It’s basically a “convenience fee”, to “benefit” us, so that instead of having to pay for incidentals such as the fitness room or internet, there’s a mandatory fee that lumps everything together. This can add anywhere from $10/night to $25/night. However, there are still a select few hotels that still have not implemented resort fees. Here are the top 5 hotels remaining without these fees.
This is the newest hotel of the bunch. Opening late 2010, this 5 star property is centrally located on the Strip. It features a giant Chandelier Lounge, 3 pools, a number of top chefs running their restaurants, and a lot of class. If you want to try something new, exciting, and very luxurious, try the Cosmopolitan.
2) Caesar’s Palace
One of the largest properties out of the entire city, Caesar’s Palace is a 4.5 star property made famous by the movie “The Hangover”. This hotel is centrally located, has the Forum Shoppes Mall located inside, and is location for one of the hottest clubs in Las Vegas, “Pure”. If you want a mix of luxury and a party atmosphere, stay here.
This 4 star property is located centrally on the strip. With an almost full size replica of the Eiffel Tower, the hotel provides many great opportunities for pictures. If that’s not good enough, head up the tower and see the amazing skyline from the top. With great restaurants such as the Eiffel Tower restaurant, and Mon Ami Gabi, you get a great mix of culture and luxury.
4) Planet Hollywood
This is another 4 star property with a central location. If you want to party In Las Vegas, this is the hotel to do it. With it’s younger, attractive crowd, great live bands, the Miracle Mile Mall located inside, and Hollywood memorabilia inside every room, there’s really no better hotel to let loose and have fun.
The last hotel on the list is a 3.5 star property, again centrally located on the strip. If you want a more old school Vegas feel, this is the hotel to be. The hotel features the Wildlife Habitat with roaming flamingos, koi and turtles in the ponds, surrounded by a lush 15 acre tropical paradise. The Flamingo is also home of one of the most beautiful pools in the entire city.
